Outdoor Garments is an on-going project at KESTIN, developing technical outerwear designed to stand against the harsh Scottish weather.
The Cuillin Down Jacket is made from a shell and lining of 100% Recycled Nylon Ripstop, finished with a Pfc-free DWR treatment for added weather resistance. The Cuillin's signature onion-stitched quilting holds a 90/10% blend of down and feather, complient with the Responsible Down Standard, and providing a warm yet lightweight and breathable 600-fill-power.
The Gullane Storm Parka is a hybrid outerwear piece, offering both insulation and waterproofing, ideal for the shift in seasons, through autumn to deep winter. The shell of the parka is made from 100% Recycled Nylon in a 2-Layer Canvas weave, which has both fully taped seams and a C-0 DWR treatment for protection from the rain. The smooth lining is also made from Recycled Nylon.
