NEPPY ORGANIC COTTON

A premium Italian water repellent organic cloth with a natural, neppy hand-feel. This cloth was selected due to its completely unique texture, which is tactile and visually unusual. This premium cloth is from an Italian mill, established in 1954 and managed by a third generation, specialising in the production of high-performance technical fabrics and is our go to for European innovation.

VIRGIN WOOL PATCHWORK (FLEECE)

This super soft, deep pile virgin wool blend fleece is the real deal and from a well established Italian mill located north of Rome. The blend allows for ultimate warmth, comfort and manoeuvrability. The fleece is used both with the right side and on the reverse to play with textures and densities – resulting in a patchwork effect. One side has the plush fleecy side and one has a more smooth surface.

CUSTOM PRINT TWILL

The custom print commissioned by Kestin is inspired by the shapes and colours within Scottish artist Eduardo Paolozzi's 1975 piece, Appel-Calder. Woven in one of Portugal's most prestigious mills these cotton specialists were founded in 1958. The cloth is high quality and strong, and by pre-washing it gives it a soft handle and faded look.

Cotton poplin has been printed with a custom commissioned patchwork design inspired by Leith architecture (specifically tower block Persevere Court). The cotton has then been quilted vertically with recycled fill and stitched to enhance the vertical block print.
