MEN’S FLEECES

Creating warm men’s fleecing using a blend of wool and recycled synthetic fabrics is always a focus of ours, especially through our Autumn Winter seasons, but in Scotland’s climate, a warm fleece is vital year-round.

Our fleeces come in a range of silhouettes, such as our Neist Cardigan, Ormiston Jacket and our technical Glenmore Vest.

OUR FLEECING FABRICS

Whilst our Outdoor Garments collection offers midlayer-focused performance made from recycled and brushed polyester, and recycled nylon ripstop, our seasonal collections place focus more on wool, sourcing soft, warm and durable blends from Italy.

WHERE OUR FLEECES ARE MADE

All our wool fleece is made in Portugal, working with skilled manufacturers to create our contemporary and heritage silhouettes.

For our synthetic fleece, we’ve turned our heads to the best manufacturers when it comes to performance products, working with the same factory who make our best-selling Cuillin Down Jacket.

HOW TO STYLE OUR FLEECES

We often view our fleeces as casual, warm layering pieces. We typically recommend using them as a layering piece, either as a midlayer over jersey, or as a jacket over one of our shirts or knits.

Our technical fleece can be worn equally as casually, however a styling favourite of ours is to pair them with our technical trousers of the season, typically our loose tapered Clyde Pant. For SS25, the Clyde comes in temperature regulating 37.5® Technology.

HOW DO KESTIN FLEECES FIT?

Our fleeces generally come up regular for a jacket, sized to provide room for a midlayer. Variation comes in shape, with the Neist silhouetted as a standard cardigan, the Dreghorn as a boxy fit, and the Ormiston coming up as a standard, below-the-hip chore coat.
